Ways to Participate in Kol HaLev

There are many, many ways to participate in the Kol HaLev community!  Here are just a few:

• Religious Practices Planning and Evaluation
• Tikkun Olam / Social Action (e.g. Darfur advocacy, Environment / Sustainability, Local Community Action) 
• Membership Help: Greeting, Mentoring, Planning, Policies, Evaluation
• Finance/Budgeting
• Adult Education Committee: Study Groups, Discussions, Speakers
• Holiday celebrations: Sukkot, Hanukkah, Purim, Tu B’shvat, etc.
• Fundraising and Special Fundraising Events
• Youth & Family Education: Planning, Programs & Policies for all KHL children
• Teach in Hagiga / Children’s Education Program
• Lay leading for services, Torah study, Torah chanting, shiva minyanim
• Offer your home for services, holidays, classes or meetings
• Special Events (Scholar-in-Residence, Retreats, etc.)
• Administrative, office and tech support
• Women’s Group and Retreat
• Men’s Group
• Host Kiddush
• Hesed / Lovingkindness (e.g. making meals, light shopping, visits, emergency childcare, phone calls, attend a shiva minyan)
