"Abraham: The Man and the Myth"
What do we really know about Abraham and how do we know it?

Listen to the recording of this Adult Learning session presented by Peter Haas for a deep dive into the parshiot and commentaries that shed light on our complex patriarch, and an exciting introduction to the themes that will be dramatized in the upcoming mock trial!

Dr. Haas is Abba Hillel Silver Professor of Jewish Studies at Case Western Reserve University. His focus is on Western Religion (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) and on the religious, historical and social context of the current Middle East crises. An engaging speaker, Dr. Haas has also written several books and articles on moral discourse.
